Top 5 Best Trips!!

Hans1730 (Rochester, Minnesota) on Oct 17, 2024

My husband’s company booked this resort (all-inclusive pack) for a business trip. This place was beyond stunning. From a security perspective, I never felt unsafe or in danger. There was some construction going on, but it never interfered with our fun! Small island, small airport, small resorts, but over-exceeded our expectations! Check in was good and drinks were served to welcome us. It’s a smaller resort, but honestly that might be my pref now. Buildings are 1-20 and each only 3 stories (room 1301A). Unless on the very end you can’t see the ocean, no worries, pretty much just slept there!! But the rooms, no no, I’ll call them suites. Full living room, dining table, full kitchen, king bedroom and bathroom. All the amenities and then some. 10x10 patio to store wet suits and swim gear. We were on the first floor and so glad we were! Magnetic locks were a nice safety touch. Huge pool with swim up bar (food and drinks served till 10pm, including sushi!) But who needs the pool with the ocean feet off the patio restaurant! Snorkeling was off the hook. I’m not a big fan but enjoyed it in 4-6 feet. The pics others came back with were amazing. Coral reef 50 feet off property and sea life everywhere - always felt safe. Locals selling goods on the beach were persistent but with a big group someone was always buying! Everything from swim shirts, massages, to jewelry and fresh fruit! The food…wow! I had fresh lobste all while 20 feet from the ocean. Staff worked hard and earned great tips! Food selection was amazing and there was something for everyone - even the picky chicken wing guy! We were on the all-inclusive package, but I did see other day visitors (cruise ships) paying a la carte. Highly recommend this island and resort - thanks for the fun Roatan!

Bad Customer Service, Overpriced And Chaotic

Kate C on Oct 09, 2024

We went to use the pool for a day pass. There were 11 of us including children. We had organized that the price was $85/pp USD the day before. When we went back with the entire family the next day they wanted $108/pp. They said they would not honour the price, then they said they would, then they said they wouldn’t. They had all of us including the children waiting there for ages and just couldn’t figure it out. We left. We had used the pool back in 2018 and stayed there May 2022. We decided not to stay there this year because management is just really hard to deal with. We thought we would give it another chance because the weather wasn’t ideal and thought it would be nice to enjoy the pool. This experience has proven again that Infinity Bay is just challenging to deal with and overpriced for what it is. Really disorganized and chaotic. If you’re looking for a good stay, look into West Bay Village and if you’re looking for pool use Paradise Ocean Resort.

Don't Miss This Jewel

Mary M on Oct 07, 2024

Have stayed at Infinity Bay several times over the past 12 years. Even when cruising, always schedule a day pass from ship dock. Walk right off the shore & snorkel/dive until you are worn out. Staff at Infinity Bay are very accommodating & friendly. Always feel safe. JUST BEAUTIFUL. Planning 2 more trips in the next 12 months.

The most relaxing way to vacation

Tracey M on Oct 03, 2024

This was my family's second trip to IB. We visited Feb 2023 and Mar 2024 and are heading back Feb 2025. We have groups of 35+ each time! Everyone has now gone or going more than once! CHECK IN: Nice and easy!! Also extremely friendly and helpful. We booked All inclusive. 2023 Room- Building 18 4th floor, 2 bedroom: I couldn't have asked for a better location!!! Macaws every single morning flying overhead and playing while we drank coffee on our GIANT patio!! The smaller patio we did not use. The room was far beyond expectations!!! HUGE and clean! 10/10 2024 Room-Building 7 1st floor, 1 bedroom: Equally as great and the bonus was being on the ground level. Construction on pool and main building was happening but we knew this and they only worked 8-4. Once again watched Macaws every morning but being so low we couldn't see them as well. Coffee on our patio every morning was glorious as it was last trip. This patio was not as big, would have liked the bigger one from 2023 as we have family join us every morning for a cup or two of coffee. Once again very clean and perfect for us! POOLS/BAR/STAFF: All amazing, the only thing I can say is they lack in wait staff, but we managed!! BUFFET RESTAURANT: Is it possible that the food was even BETTER the second trip there? The first trip we went out to a couple of restaurants but didn't enjoy them as much as the dinners at the buffet!! So second trip we only hit up Hang Over Hut for Poutine and a Caesar since we are Canadian! All meals at the buffet were amazing! Those refried beans... OMG YUM!!! If you want water bottles for your room just ask. They will give it to you and same goes for milk. BEACH: It is small but I never found it crowded-however I do not lay on the beach... I lay by the pool or in the pool or ocean. Vendors are kind and just say no thank you! Mister Banana Bread guy carries around a bucket of warm banana bread...BUY IT!!! I love the beach since it is NOTHING like the beaches in Mexico or anywhere else! You can walk the whole length of it and see homes, resorts, restaurants etc. ALL VERY SAFE! No large high rise buildings. You have to be there to really understand. The alleyways lead to other shops and places to eat. Also safe! The ocean is so calm and nice to float or snorkel in. Lots of little fish etc to see. Cruisers on day passes you don't really notice too much! We all cannot wait to head back in a few months for our 3rd trip there!! 41 of us to be exact this time!!! The best relaxing, glorious escape from reality I could ask for! TIP: Bring a fire stick or your logins to Disney + etc. if you want to watch TV.
